Who doesn't like ferris wheels and fried Snickers bars? We like both of those things - which is why we were so excited when Coconino County asked us to handle the art for the annual fair here in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The client came up with the tagline, There's Magic in the Fair. So we thought about what makes the fair so magical. What came to mind was that moment when you first visited a fair as a child - when you see the lights, hear the sounds and smell all the food. As far as we're concerned that moment is the epitome of magical. We tried to capture that moment by using an illustration of a little girl on her dad's shoulders, walking into the fair for the very first time.
